Miniature Painting

I am offering a service to paint miniatures for games such as table-top role playing games, wargames and other miniature based games.

I’m a highly competent painter with over 40 years of miniature painting experience. I do not claim to be the best painter around, but my work is clean and well presented with a great deal of care and attention paid to each miniature I work on.

Standard Quality means:

I will assemble the miniature if required. I will prepare the surface with high quality primer. I will paint the miniature using full shading and detailing. I will base the miniature simply, with scenic items painted, often finished with flock, sand, static grass etc. No customisation or additional detailing. The miniature will be finished with several light coats of clear matt lacquer to protect the painting as much as possible although repeated handling will result in degradation of the quality of the paint over time.

You have complete control over colour palette. You can either explain this in detail or send me sketches, colour palettes, images you would like me to emulate etc. I can’t guarantee to get everything bang on how you would like, it depends on the mini etc. But i’ll do my best.

The basic price for a single painted miniature between 25 and 35mm tall (not including base height) is £15.00. This does not include the cost of the miniature itself. There are several options with regards to the miniature purchase.

1. You purchase the miniature and ship it to me either built or unbuilt.
2. email me on matherartist@gmail.com with the details of what you want painted and we can negotiate a cost,

Note: This can also include custom minis such as Hero forge minis. If you send me the screengrab of the Hero-forge mini or send me a link, I will purchase and paint as required. Don’t forget to tell me the material type.

Regiments/Squads

If you are asking me to build squads or regiments you will need to tell me exactly which weapon/banner/officer options etc you require if you want me to build them for you. The cost is substantially cheaper to reflect the fact that all models will be painted in a very similar style and, generlaly, the quality is a little simpler as there is less customisation.

Pricing
I consider my servics to be very competetive, as a result, I don’t offer discount for additional minis unless it’s a squad or regiment (see variation costs).

Turnaround time:

I work full time as a teacher so sometimes my time is somewhat limited. I usually aim to complete a mini in around 14 days from order. I will let you know in advance if there would be any delays due to excessive demand, workload, holidays etc. Obviouly larger orders take longer.

I am based in the UK so this will factor into shipping costs etc.
