Bit of a deep dive into all things dwarven.

Back to the day job!

So my ‘proper job’of being a computer science lecturer moves back to the classroom over the next week or so. Frankly I’m delighted. Working from home offered some benefits, but it was also darned hard work. My days seemed longer, starting work at 8am, and often working into the evening planning. Prep takes somuch longer for distance learning, resources to wrte online quizzes and activities to setup, more work to mark, more often.

Now I’m back in ‘the office’ I feel I might actually have a little more free time rather than less. So you can imagine how annoying it is to see some government officials talk about ‘lost learning’. My students are all up to date, on target tomeet their grades and completing their course.

But it also means I might have a little more time in the evenings to paint and work on projects.

I just wrote the first in a eries of articles on roleplaying games and fantasy in general. This week looking at Elves in fantasy games.
